No matter what you’ve heard, or what you’ve been told, we were ALL born for a purpose. But you’ve probably experienced the times of feeling glum and not knowing why, second guessing yourself and your abilities and not taking action to achieve the things you know you can.

How am I so sure?

I’m living proof!

At 15 years old, my Grandmother, with whom I was raised, was brutally murdered in our home. At 16 I was subject to constant abuse and at 36, my mother told me that the man responsible for murdering my Grandmother was my biological father.

And, what’s more, I spent the whole of my secondary (high) school days sitting next to the sister I never knew I had!
Though I tried to tell my husband prior to our wedding about the abuse, I couldn’t and that secret haunted our marriage for 14 years.

But five years ago, I put an end to it
and broke my silence

All the things that meant so much to me, those precious things I feared losing – my husband, my home, my family – were to become great sources of blessings and catalysts for rebuilding my shattered dreams.

You Were “Chosen For a Purpose,” and, God never intended for you to be hurt. He said, in Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (NKJV)

I’m a ‘King James’ person myself and I love where it says “…to give you an expected end”

You must also understand that the enemy knows God has a plan for your life and that those plans are good.

This is the very reason he has done his best – in some cases to try and kill you before you were born – and failing that, to “rape” you of your integrity and your honour, bring you shame and steal your hopes and dreams. But…

It’s time to seize the moment and rekindle every dream the
enemy has stolen from you!

… those very dreams that God planted inside of you before you were born.
